Respond quickly and effectively to brand or trademark abuse with the help of Ubilibet’s Legal Department.
We’ll deactivate in the shortest possible time any illicit contents that may impact your company’s online image.
Once the fraudulent digital content has been traced, our specialists will assess the circumstances and decide on the most efficient way to remedy the situation.
How does it work?
- First, we access Whois historical data to identify the domain holder.
- After that, we'll find out the accredited registrar for the infringing domain name.
- Next, we'll determine the IP addresses the domain is pointing to, so we can establish its Internet service provider (ISP).
- Once we have all this information, we can look at the Terms & Conditions set by the various stakeholders: registrar, DNS provider and ISP. The prohibitions of use established by the companies will inform our legal requirements
- Finally, we ask the infringing party and all stakeholders involved to cease and desist the illegitimate online activity as quickly as possible.
Ubilibet handles every case on an individual basis, deciding on the most effective legal strategy to remove harmful content — including sending notarial authenticated requirements to the infringing party or the website hosting it, and sending online requests to all involved (infringing party, ISP, marketplace, social network, etc.).
